David Hodge
David began his career in 1997 as a carpet and upholstery cleaner for a small business in Tennessee and from that point on he dedicated himself to learning and practicing in most every part of the cleaning and restoration industry. In 1999, he moved into the restoration division of the company, working in the field processing water, fire, smoke, storm, and other claim types. Over the next 15 years, David grew in the company and industry, earning Triple Master status with the IICRC, as well as, the Mold Removal Specialist designation.
From 2007 until his departure from this company, David gained status as Operations Officer and Lead Estimator overseeing the daily operations, personnel, and processing claims. His work ethic and personality helped him to create a good name among not only the insurance industry in east Tennessee but also with competitors. David fielded many calls from adjusters, agents, and even competing companies seeking advice or help with projects or estimating on difficult or never before seen situations. To date, David has processed or consulted on close to 3,000 property damage claims. He firmly believes in the good that this industry can do for people and has always been willing to lend a hand when needed.
David currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Education Committee for the IICRC and Vice-Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee for both the Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician and the upcoming Contents Processing Technician course, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the IICRC.
Outside of the cleaning and restoration industry, David was also a Fire Fighter / EMT-Advanced for over 9 years. He is currently working on attaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management and Public Safety from Grand Canyon University. Among his certifications received in the restoration industry, he also received certifications and/or licensing as:

·        Radiological Monitoring
